MUHANYA MWAMBA, also known as MUSTACHE, pursues an artistic approach centered around an identity quest rooted in his early childhood within two distinct temporal spaces. Firstly, the first temporal space is more technical, where he uses a camera lens to construct scenes reflecting his own image as a playful and joyful archetype of his unforgettable childhood moments and circumstances.
Secondly, the second temporal space he adopts involves contextualizing his personal openness to other cultures, customs, and traditions, emphasizing the importance of the perspective of others. He also explores the ideology of African psychology, aiming to understand beings and things positively, living in harmony with the cosmos to fill gaps in social representation and chance information.
Furthermore, the artist has successfully created photographic works exploring travels and encounters with characters from unknown and distant horizons.
